
Kale stamppot with vegan bacon
With the vegan bacon bits, you can easily add a nice crispy bite and extra flavor to a plant-based dish. Ideal for use in, for example, a traditional Dutch kale stamppot.This recipe is for approximately 2 people.
Ingredients
70gvegan bacon bits
400gPotatoes
70gvegan butter or oil
Pepper
Salt
400gKale
Preparation
- Peel the potatoes and cut them into equal pieces. Cook them in water with a little salt until done.
- Cut the kale into small pieces and blanch briefly.
- Drain the potatoes and add the kale. Mash everything into a puree and season with vegan butter or oil, salt, and pepper.
- Fry the vegan bacon bits in a little oil until crispy.
- Serve the kale mash on a plate and top with the fried vegan bacon bits.
