Rice bowl with vegan beef pieces, haricots verts, edamame beans and carrot

Vegan strips like beef are a great alternative to traditional beef strips.

Because of its texture and taste experience, it is a great base for dishes, for example in this recipe with rice and, among other things, haricots verts. This recipe serves approximately 4 people.

Ingredients

250gvegan beef strips
0.5units.itemspurple winter carrot
0.5units.itemsorange winter carrot
0.5units.itemsyellow winter carrot
200gRice
100gedamame beans
100gharicots verts
1units.itemsSpring onion

Preparation

  1. Cook the rice according to the instructions on the package.
  2. Cut the carrots, green beans, and spring onion into pieces.
  3. Fry the vegan beef pieces in a pan until nicely browned and season with salt, pepper, and optionally herbs.
  4. Blanch the green beans and carrots in salted water.
  5. Spoon the rice onto a plate.
  6. Serve the vegan beef pieces on the rice and top with the green beans and pieces of colored carrot.
  7. Garnish with the edamame beans and spring onion.
