Pisco is distilled from grapes, unlike the South American drinks tequila and mezcal. The Peruvian Intipalka, with vineyards in the Ica at the foot of the Andes river, makes pisco with an exceptionally sweet softness. The hand-harvested grapes are fermented in stainless steel tanks, and from this fermented grape juice, the pisco is ultimately distilled. Deliciously processed in the cocktail Pisco Sour.
