Tomme with beer is a semi-hard cheese made from cow’s milk with a distinctive, artisanal appearance. During the maturation process, the rind is regularly washed with beer, which creates a lightly tangy aroma and a subtly malty flavour. The cheese has a supple, creamy texture and a full, slightly nutty taste with pleasant savouriness.
