The Vinada Sparkling Gold is a tasty alcohol-free wine. A conscious choice – and with only 20 kcal per 100 ml – also a responsible one. The Sparkling Gold is made from the Airén grape and originates from the wine region Castilla-La Mancha. The Airén grape produces fresh, smooth white wines and is a grape that can withstand the heat of La Mancha well. The grapes are fermented and aged according to the traditional winemaking method. During this traditional vinification, the grapes are crushed very gently and the skins begin to release their colouring agents into the juice. As soon as the winemaker is satisfied with the hue, the grapes are gently pressed and the skins and juice are separated. Fermentation then continues. The wine is dealcoholised just before bottling. Dealcoholisation takes place by means of vacuum extraction: the fully fermented base wine is dealcoholised under vacuum at a low temperature. The temperature is very important for the flavour. The lower the temperature during dealcoholisation, the more aromas and thus flavour are retained. This process takes place at 28°C. The volatile aromas of the wine are extracted simultaneously with the alcohol. The aromas are immediately returned to the dealcoholised wine. The collected alcohol is stored externally and used for another product. The wine is then purified, filtered and stabilised.
The Vinada Sparkling Gold with 0% alcohol has a beautiful straw-yellow colour. On the nose white flowers and white fruit and a bit of citrus. The wine has a fine bubble and is pleasantly fresh and dry.
