Herring, rye bread and a cream of sheep's yogurt cream cheese

Herring on hearty rye bread with a creamy sheep’s yogurt and cream cheese spread – a savory and full-flavored snack.

Ingredients

50gSheep's yogurt
2units.itemsAmsterdam crispy onions
radish ribbons
10Kesbeke pickles
1herring
1slice of rye bread
Chives
40gfresh cream cheese natural
3Radishes
Perles fraiches de vinaigre de vin rouge

Preparation

  1. Cut the herring into neat, even pieces like the rye bread.
  2. Mix the sheep's yogurt and cream cheese with chopped chives.
  3. Season the cream with salt and pepper.
  4. Put the cream in a piping bag.
  5. Spread the cream generously on the rye bread.
  6. Place the herring on top.
  7. Place the thinly sliced pickles and pieces of chopped Amsterdam onions on the herring.
  8. Garnish the herring with the pearls, radishes, and daikon.

Tip: briefly place the radish and daikon in ice water, this will make them curl nicely and become deliciously crisp.
