Parmesan cheese cones

Crispy cones of Parmesan cheese, a delicious snack or amuse-bouche.

FoodXperience consists of a team of culinary advisors who can be found daily in your own HANOS location. Especially for this Christmas edition, the chefs came together and came up with this dish, among others.

Ingredients

15gPowdered sugar
40ggrated Parmesan cheese
waffle baker
30gsunflower oil
180gWater
4gSalt
150gFlour

Olive oil
Mashed potatoes
fresh truffle
truffle tapenade

Preparation

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine water, oil, salt, sugar, and flour and stir into a batter.
  2. Mix in the cheese.
  3. Bake waffles in the waffle maker for about 1 minute.
  4. Immediately roll into cones.

  1. Mix mashed potatoes with truffle tapenade to taste and then add some olive oil for creaminess.
  2. Pipe the warm mash into waffles and grate some fresh truffle over the top.
