Lamb burger with muhammara

A rich combination of juicy lamb and spicy, nutty muhammara. A flavorful twist on the classic burger.

Ingredients

400glamb mince
0.5rosemary
4rye sourdough rolls
4Thyme
2Breadcrumbs
2Suiker lettuce
1Parsley
150gFeta
4Figs
1jar of muhammara
burger press
Pepper and salt
Olive oil

Preparation

  1. Finely chop the thyme and rosemary.
  2. Mix the lamb mince with parsley, thyme, rosemary, breadcrumbs, salt, and pepper.
  3. Form burgers from this mixture and brush them with olive oil.
  4. Grill the burgers over medium heat on both sides (make sure the burgers remain a bit juicy).
  5. Briefly grill the sourdough buns on the barbecue.
  6. Cut the figs and sucrine lettuce into pieces and crumble the feta.
  7. Serve the burgers with a spoonful of muhammara, figs, feta, and sucrine lettuce.
