Mint chutney

Chutney with fresh mint, ginger, green peppers and yogurt, seasoned with sugar, salt and a hint of lime juice. Recipe by Paulami Joshi.

Ingredients

140mlWhole yogurt
2Green rawit peppers
2units.theelepelLime juice
30gFresh mint
20gGinger (roughly chopped)
0.5units.theelepelSugar

Preparation

  1. Blend the mint, ginger, rawit chilies, yogurt, sugar, and salt in a food processor or blender until smooth. Add the lime juice and mix briefly. Taste and adjust seasoning with salt and/or lime juice if needed.
  2. Pour the chutney into a glass jar with a screw cap. Let it cool and store in the refrigerator until use. When stored airtight and cool, the chutney will keep for about 1 week. Prefer vegan? Replace the yogurt with plant-based yogurt.
