Valentine's eggs

These (spreadable) eggs can be eaten with the shell and all – fun.

Ingredients

500gFilet americain
250gOssenworst
Fresh herbs to taste
1units.itemsSilicone mold n.12 egg
Cocoa butter Mycryo
Seasoning spices
Red powder coloring

brioche bread
Beetroot juice
Olive oil

Preparation

  1. Blend the filet americain and ossenworst until smooth in the food processor.
  2. Mix in some chopped fresh herbs.
  3. Pipe this mixture into the silicone molds and freeze.
  4. Mix the cocoa powder with seasoning spices to taste and, if desired, some red coloring.
  5. Heat and mix everything well together.
  6. Skewer the eggs on a satay stick and dip twice in the warm cocoa butter mixture.
  7. Let thaw.

  1. Slice the bread and cut out hearts using a heart-shaped cutter.
  2. Drizzle with beet juice and olive oil and toast in the oven at 80°C.

  1. Serve the eggs with the bread, so the guest can spread their own "egg with shell" on the toast.
