Apple pie pastry

Warm pastry with almond paste, stewed Belle de Boskoop apple and cinnamon, served with vanilla ice cream, whipped cream and apple-cinnamon cookie crumble.

Ingredients

Fine sugar
Whipped cream
Vanilla ice cream
Cinnamon powder
Butter
1Tartlet with lid
Almond paste
Goudreinet apples
Apple-cinnamon cookies

Preparation

  1. Cut a round slice from the almond paste and place it at the bottom of the pastry shell.
  2. Mix fine sugar with a little cinnamon powder.
  3. Melt the butter and brush the pastries with the melted butter.
  4. Sprinkle with cinnamon sugar and bake for about 8 minutes in the oven at 160°C.
  5. Peel the Belle de Boskoop apples and cut into cubes.
  6. Stew the apple cubes in butter and add a little cinnamon sugar while cooking.
  7. Let simmer gently until the apples are nicely cooked.
  8. Remove the pastries from the oven and scoop a ball of vanilla ice cream into them.
  9. Spread the stewed apple over them.
  10. Finish with a dollop of whipped cream and some crumble of apple-cinnamon cookies (28011720).
