Apple pie pastry
Warm pastry with almond paste, stewed Belle de Boskoop apple and cinnamon, served with vanilla ice cream, whipped cream and apple-cinnamon cookie crumble.Ingredients
Fine sugar
Whipped cream
Vanilla ice cream
Cinnamon powder
Butter

Preparation
- Cut a round slice from the almond paste and place it at the bottom of the pastry shell.
- Mix fine sugar with a little cinnamon powder.
- Melt the butter and brush the pastries with the melted butter.
- Sprinkle with cinnamon sugar and bake for about 8 minutes in the oven at 160°C.
- Peel the Belle de Boskoop apples and cut into cubes.
- Stew the apple cubes in butter and add a little cinnamon sugar while cooking.
- Let simmer gently until the apples are nicely cooked.
- Remove the pastries from the oven and scoop a ball of vanilla ice cream into them.
- Spread the stewed apple over them.
- Finish with a dollop of whipped cream and some crumble of apple-cinnamon cookies (28011720).
