Mini vegetarian zakouski pastries

Mini zakouski pastries filled with creamy béchamel and QimiQ, gratinated with Parmesan cheese and finished with chives and parsley.Savory mini pastries with a creamy filling of béchamel sauce and QimiQ, gratinated with Parmesan cheese and freshly finished with herbs. Ideal as a warm vegetarian snack.

Ingredients

Parsley
Zakouskis
Chives
500mlBéchamel sauce
Parmesan cheese
500mlQimiQ

Preparation

  1. Mix the QimiQ with the béchamel sauce in a food processor until smooth.

  2. Season with herbs of your choice.

  3. Fill the small vol-au-vents with a little of this mixture.

  4. Add garnish as desired; in this recipe chives and parsley are used. Tip: make sure the garnish is cooked.

  5. Spoon a little more of the QimiQ-béchamel mixture on top and sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese.

  6. Bake in an oven at 180°C until the pastries are heated through and lightly golden brown.
