Basque Baked Cheesecake
Lightly torched cheesecake, served in an individual pan or jar. Flavored with orange zest, garnished with citrus and fine Bastogne crumbs.Ingredients

0.5Orange zest
100mlWhipped cream
2Eggs
0.5units.eetlepelFlour
Bastogne crumbs (for the base)
350gPhiladelphia cream cheese (plain)
Citrus segments (for garnish)
Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 200 degrees Celsius.
- Whip the cream and mix it with the Philadelphia until smooth.
- Add the sugar, flour, vanilla essence, and orange zest (to taste). Mix everything well.
- Add the eggs one by one and mix until you have a smooth batter.
- Divide the batter among 6 small pans or jars.
- Bake the cheesecakes in the preheated oven for 20 minutes, or until the top is nicely browned and lightly torched.
- Let the cheesecakes cool.
- Garnish the cheesecakes with citrus segments and fine Bastogne crumbs just before serving.
