Donut cheesecake & blueberry bun

Donut bun filled with airy cheesecake mousse, sprinkled with blueberry powder and finished with fresh blueberries and edible flowers.

Ingredients

Blueberries
Edible flower petals
Berliner bun / donut bun
Blueberry powder
Cheesecake

Preparation

  1. Let the donut buns thaw and roll them in fine sugar.
  2. Briefly warm the cheesecake in the bottle under warm water so it comes out of the bottle more easily.
  3. Whip the cheesecake in the machine with a whisk until it becomes a light, pipeable mousse.
  4. Fill the donut buns with the cheesecake mousse using a piping bag and a stainless steel nozzle.
  5. Pipe a swirl of cheesecake mousse on top of the buns.
  6. Sprinkle the top with blueberry powder using a small sieve.
  7. Garnish with halved blueberries and a few edible flower petals.
