Donut pistachio bun

Soft donut bun filled with pistachio-mascarpone mousse, finished with pistachio crunch and finely chopped nuts. Creamy, crispy, and irresistible.

Ingredients

pistachio nuts
1lMascarpone cream
pistachio crunch
Berliner bun / donut bun
80gPistachio paste
Sugar

Preparation

  1. Let the buns thaw and roll them in fine sugar.
  2. Mix the mascarpone cream and pistachio paste well together. Then whip the mixture in the machine with a whisk until it is a firm, pipeable mousse.
  3. Fill the donut buns with the mousse, using a piping bag with a plain nozzle.
  4. Finish the buns with the mousse and garnish with pistachio crunch and finely chopped pistachios.
