Lamb shank with gnocchi & pesto

Slow-cooked lamb shank: tender and full of flavor. Served with gnocchi and pesto for a balanced dish.

Ingredients

2Onions
1.5lLamb jus
10Lamb shanks
2Carrots
750mlRed wine
150gPesto
4Garlic cloves
1.5kgGnocchi

Preparation

  1. Sear the shanks all around for a nice color.
  2. Deglaze and cook with the remaining ingredients, except the gnocchi, for about 5 hours.
  3. Fry the gnocchi separately.
  4. Divide the gnocchi on the plate, place the shank on top, and spoon the jus around.
