Vegan crispy chicken burger with sriracha mayonnaise

Crispy chicken on a beautiful rustic brown bun with a delicious sriracha mayonnaise, but without meat.

The Vegan burger as chicken is a great substitute for chicken burgers, for a tasty sandwich. This recipe is for approximately 4 people.

Ingredients

4units.itemsbrown rustic roll
4units.itemsvegan chicken burger
150gAvocado
2Lime juice
1units.itemsvegan bacon slice
1units.itemsTomato
Arugula
1units.itemsRed onion
vegan sriracha mayonnaise

Preparation

  1. Heat a grill pan over medium heat.
  2. Slice the bun in half and toast both halves on the grill pan.
  3. Make a quick guacamole by mashing avocado with a fork and adding lime juice and salt.
  4. Cook the vegan chicken burger and vegan bacon slice in the same pan or on a barbecue until golden brown and cooked through on both sides.
  5. Slice the tomato and red onion.
  6. Top the bottom half of the bun with guacamole, arugula, red onion, and tomato.
  7. Place the cooked vegan chicken burger on top, then add the vegan bacon slice and another layer of vegan sriracha mayonnaise.
  8. Place the top half of the bun on and serve at the table. Optionally, insert a skewer or steak knife through the burger to hold everything in place.
