Goru Chardonnay is an elegant, full-bodied white wine made from 100% Chardonnay, aged for 6 months on fine lees and oak. After destemming, the grapes are pressed and fermented in stainless steel tanks, after which the wine is transferred to oak barrels during fermentation. The wine then matures for six months on fine lees with daily bâtonnage, which provides extra creaminess, structure and complexity.
In the glass it is straw yellow with golden hues, with aromas of pineapple, apple and pear, nicely integrated with notes of butter, toast and caramel. The taste is creamy, soft and round, with fresh acidity and a lightly oaked, long finish. With an alcohol content of 12.5% and an ideal serving temperature of 10–12°C, this is a versatile gastronomic wine that pairs very well with spiced white meat dishes, seafood and semi-hard and hard cheeses.
