Croissant bun breakfast

Delicious to combine with both sweet and savory ingredients. For example, serve the croissant bun as part of a breakfast, topped with a sunny side up egg.

Ingredients

Croissant buns
salad pea cress
Muhammara
Egg
cheddar cheese
Streaky bacon

Preparation

  1. Let the croissant buns thaw and bake them at 190°C for about 15 minutes.
  2. Let cool on a rack.
  3. Cut in half.
  4. Spread some muhammara on both halves.
  5. Bake bacon slices until crispy at 180°C in the oven.
  6. Place them on the bun.
  7. Add a slice of cheddar cheese and finally a sunny side up fried egg.
  8. Garnish generously with salad pea cress.
