Lángos English breakfast

Golden-brown fried lángos with crème fraîche, egg, cheddar and crispy bacon for a savory English breakfast twist.

Ingredients

50mlWater
1Lángos
1.5Garlic paste
1.5Olive oil
Crème fraîche
Grated cheddar
Egg
Bacon cubes
Chives
Spring onion

Preparation

  1. Blend the water, garlic paste and olive oil with a hand blender. This is a basic recipe and can be used to brush several lángos.
  2. Brush the lángos with the garlic water before baking.
  3. Bake the lángos for about 5–7 minutes in an oven at 180°C.
  4. Meanwhile, cook the egg as desired.
  5. Spread the baked lángos with crème fraîche.
  6. Top with grated cheddar, the fried egg, spring onion and chives.
  7. Finish with crispy bacon cubes.
